These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Hookly, a content planning service for Instagram and TikTok creators, operated by [Company legal name] (“Hookly”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Hookly you agree to these Terms. If you use Hookly for a company or client, you confirm you can bind them to these Terms.
The service
Hookly analyses the social profiles you choose, builds a content strategy, suggests ideas, writes scripts and carousels with AI, and shows performance insights. Features may change as we improve the product. Some features are marked “coming soon” and are not part of your plan until released.
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Hookly. Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. One account may manage several brands, each billed as described in Pricing.
Connected accounts
You can connect Instagram or TikTok through their official login, or enter a public handle. You confirm you own or are authorised to manage every account you connect or analyse as your own brand. You can disconnect an account at any time in Settings. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms.
AI-generated content
Ideas, scripts, captions and other outputs are generated with AI from your inputs and data. Outputs may be inaccurate, similar to content created for others, or unsuitable for your audience. Review everything before you publish. You are responsible for what you post, including claims about health, finance, law or products, and for following platform rules and advertising disclosure laws.
Your content and data
You keep ownership of the content you provide and the outputs created for you. You grant Hookly a limited licence to host, process and display that content only to provide and improve the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your content.
Acceptable use
Do not use Hookly to break the law, infringe others’ rights, impersonate anyone, analyse accounts you are not authorised to manage for harmful purposes, send spam, scrape the service, reverse engineer it, or overload our systems. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other users at risk.
Plans, billing and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Billing; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices are shown before checkout and may change with at least 30 days’ notice for future periods. Free access
Seeing your strategy and first ideas is free. We may limit free usage to keep the service fair and available.
Third-party services
Hookly relies on third parties such as Instagram, TikTok, Google, Stripe and AI model providers. We are not responsible for their availability or changes to their platforms, which may affect features.
Disclaimers
Hookly is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee views, followers, sales or any particular result, and we do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hookly is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Hookly in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Hookly and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [State], United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of [County, State], unless the law of your place of residence requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms. If changes are material we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Hookly after that means you accept the updated Terms.
